A very nice picture you took there in Thailand. I'd like to ask if you know what exactly does the inscription here mean. It says: ' ๑๗๔ พระ ลักษณ ออก ศึก ' I am studying Thai but I am not sure about the meaning. 174 royal... what ? I see that ลักษณ means quantity but ออก ศึก... = exit + battle ? Does it mean 'victory' or something ? It would make sense, 174 royal troops' victory. That's my assumption. There is a fight here, that's what I can see without reading the inscription though

Should you know Thai better than me, please help

I'm afraid you're streets ahead of me on this one, I would have just about been able to make out the number!
I'm not 100% sure but I think that the frieze depicts a famous Thai legend, it goes right around the base of the temple.
